Socks VN Enl Wool. Unissued mint. Size large 12-13. Came out of a grouping I recently got. Had a AAFES sticker on them of 49 cents but I lost it while photographing the set. Ugh. Wonderful matched set. These were issued to the soldiers in theater.

Many hated the thickness and resorted to carrying C-Ration cans in them in the packs to keep them from rattling. Great way to display a pack group to have the right impression of what the soldiers really did with the socks.
