Pith helmet USMC OFC. Condition unissued mint. Complete with the original strap. original oilcloth sweatband with tightening cord. Marked USN with the WWII contract stampings. Very common to see these Green Navy issue being used by the marines as well. Also for a couple reasons.

They loved the green color versus the khaki. Also opportunity on the ships may have opened as one was laying around. MINTY example with a well marked OFFICERS pattern EGA on the front with the Helmet style nut on the back. Wonderful piece of headgear.
