KDF Sailing club pin. Condition used. The “Strength through Joy” sailing pins for membership are hard to locate. These were similar clubs like the Glider and flying clubs that had members that were Luftwaffe and Kreigsmarine trained. This was used to strengthen Germany without breaking the armistice rules set in place.
Also made on silver washed steel with some areas having wear and such. Nice enamel work and detail. Produced and maker marked “Poellath”. Great early membership pin from when the rise of the German forces were building up for war.
