Helmet OFC M1881 NY. Condition used nice. Original early well made helmet. Produced by J.H. Mc Kenney of New York. All original insignia to the helmet. New York plate on the front with the number “65”. Officers style hooked buttons on side with shield hook high back. Original plate backing on shield hook.

Original spike on top with oak leaves surrounding base. True vents on side. Some LIGHT mothing that is repairable as seen. Original leather sweatband. Size 7 1/4 marked. Complete except officers chain. Very nice NY State 65th Infantry officers helmet.
