Canteen RSE 1945 WWII. Condition excellent. Light use. Had soldiers name on the front and back near neck. Not a large distraction. The main show of this is the maker. RSE made canteens in 1943 and 1945 in aluminum. Also the cups and canteens that were porcelain. The aluminum canteens are one of the harder manufactures to find.
RSE stood for Republic Stamping & Enameling. Style is M1910 but almost M1942 with the lip around the upper area. Not stainless either. A wonderful example of a harder to find canteen manufacture of WWII.
