Betio Beachhead book 45. Condition used. Wonderful original copy of a scarcer book. Published in 1945 by the War orphans scholarship Inc. Also the proceeds went to fund war orphans. Written and very descriptive accout of the battle in the Pacific in WWII. Tarawa was one of the bloodist battle in the War. The Marines also lost a lot of men to this beachhead. Photos seem to be on every other page and in plenty.
