Bayonet 03 parade 16″. Condition excellent. Parade bayonet made from a M1903 pattern bayonet by Springfield arsenal. Full 16 inch configuration. Complete with a modified type III leather scabbard. Dated 1910 on bayonet and 1907 on the scabbard.

Many of these were modified for “Parade” issue in WWI. Mostly for the use of color guard in the funerals of so many soldiers returning home after giving the ultimate sacrifice to their country. Full bottom on the scabbard.
