M43 field cap WWII. Condition excellent. No stains or fading. Made of HBT herringbone twill material. These came out in WWII and the men loved them. Simple but sturdy in the field and bases. This one is WWII by the side vent rivets and the construction. Much darker by the time Korea comes around.

Also about a size 7 1/4 since the tag is not inside. Former WWII soldiers ID letter and number inside.
