Watch WWI German Hindenburg. Condition used. Pocket watch is US made by Illinois Case Company for Elgin. Appears to date from 1903 to 1910 period. Many of these were shipped over to sell to Germans and other countries before the war. Watch is not with time piece and does not matter since engraving is the star.
Beautiful Patriotic verse on one side and a photo of Hindenburg in uniform on other. Unknown how photo is applied but fascinating and ORIGINAL to the piece. Also would date from the first years of the War or slightly before in preparation. 10 year guaranteed case most likely gold filled.
