WAC uniform ID Pane ETO Base and US ARMY EUROPE BULLION PATCHES. Identified to Sue Pane with the high rank of Sergeant 1st class. Grouping includes size 12s tagged winter jacket, shirt and tie, and winter skirt with about a 32 waist when measured around the top. Bust measurements are 34 when measured under the armpits. One of the best seen theater made bullion set of patches on each arm.
The unit citation is bullion and detailed with thin wreath look. It has 4 overseas bars of the British full metal type clipped through the sleeve. and 1 service stripe. Also the rank of sergeant 1st class is quite scarce to find on a WAC uniform. Included the incredible part is the ORIGINAL photo signed to a sister by Sue. The Photo is a 8×10. Taken in KC, Missouri.
Also the uniform is in VERY excellent condition with no visible damage. Further more the service number is inside the neck area along with her name a few places. Also the shirt and tie are original to the grouping but once belonged to another woman. Collar disc are original to the set with 2 of each, including the scarcer WAC type with the 1943 type clutches.
The 6 place ribbon bar is original to uniform as well and shows overseas service and occupational time. The winter wool cap has the nice WAC trimmed cord in yellow and green. Tagged as 21.5 size. Also this his uniform is one that would be incredible on a mannequin in a collection with the photo.
