USMC WOMANS SUMMER CAP WWII. This cap is identified to a Woman Marine by the name of A. M. Carlson.  I have no other information on this woman Marine.  Excellent conditon with the original white silk knot cord attached by 2 buttons.

This is the mint color summer issue cap for a enlisted marine with the original EGA. Original period manufacture. Heavy green cotton twill Bell Crown hat as worn by women Marines with their summer uniform. White cotton cap cord, and brass dress pattern EGA on emblem. Fully lined with its sweatband intact, with the Marine’s name stamped onto the band. No manufacture, size 23. Clean, light age and wear.
