Ridgeway cap NVA capture. Condition very used. Yes it has seen a lot of wear and light. VERY faded and worn as seen. Originally a US ridgeway hat but apparently captured and later re-captured and brought home as a souvenir. When the NVA captured it is was adorned with a nice communist hammer and sickle.
Also seen is the greener color of the cap under the insignia holding on by a few threads. A really neat piece of captured gear/clothing that was recaptured again. I personally bought this from the Veteran.
