Rank USMC 1st Lt worn 2nd Meyer WWII. Excellent marked set of bars are just GREAT. Lots of the officers rubbed off the gold to show the silver when they were promoted to 1st Lieutenant. An old saying is “you are a 2nd Lt until your gold rubs off.” This shows that and I get these periodically at times.
