Princess Mary tin set. Condition is used. Original issue Christmas 1914 brass box. No dents or crushing. Hinge works great. These were to passed out to every sailor and soldier by Princess Mary as a gift of appreciation for service

Princess Mary tin set. Condition used. Original issue Christmas 1914 brass box. No dents or crushing. Hinge works great. These were to passed out to every sailor and soldier by Princess Mary as an appreciation for service.

Original bullet pencil with correct royal cypher and date on side. Bullet tip appears to be original but unmarked. Pencil (wooden) looks replaced but done well.

Pencil typically are red painted. Other colors have been noted. Overall a great example of part of the gift sent to the British troops as support in the Great War. Also seen in US personal effects. Trading and gambling was a great pass time behind the lines.
