POW Trench art knife. Condition excellent. World War One German Prisoner of War made and marked knife. Trench art was often made by these prisoners to trade for cigarettes or other goodies. This one appears to have the soldiers name as well. Looking him up he may be a Chauffer during the war.

Aluminum handle with rivets. Nice larger size than you normally see in a letter opener. Unlike other trench art, POW art is much harder to find. Very valued by collectors
