M1907 bayonet Vickers 18 dated. Condition is very nice. Scabbard cracked near bottom. Also a modification at the top I have not seen before. A leather wrap applied in the period. OK well the scabbard is a easy replacement or leave as is. Bayonet is one of the rarest being only 10,000 were produced by the company. Vickers were making many Machine guns.

Vickers could not keep a good production number going. Also the 2-tone original blade dated 1918 and well marked. Unit markings on spine of handle. These have been marked out. Looks to be 6th service company. The pommel is stamped with the Canadian acceptance marking of the “C” also the broad arrow. Wooden grips are original to the piece.

original sharpening and great overall condition. I would say the scabbard took the brunt of age. These Vickers bayonets do not appear on the market often.
