Description

Japanese WWII 94 transceiver. Condition nice. VERY scarce model 94-6 Japanese field transceiver. These are hens teeth to find. Apparently the enemy disabled it by hitting the glass out of the meter and taking the central tube out. Also in the original leather removable carry case.

Marines on Iwo Jima Captured a number of these. Worked so well they used them taking of the island. Japanese equipment was ORDERED to be destroyed at the end of the war. Making these VERY hard find in ANY condition. Morse code button on the side. Also switch for sending and receiving. Soldiers note with his obituary saying was a Radio repair tech.

Inside the tuning knobs are all original. Also the guts seem to be there. Strap and case excellent with some loose stitching. No damage to leather. Only one I have owned or seen in years. Data plate is off front top. Done in service due to matching numbers on bottom of unit. Written where tag would have been placed. 22 PHOTOS.
