First aid set 1917. Condition used nice. Original set. Dated 1917 on the pouch and bandage. Produced by Bauer and Black. Sealed with some denting as usual. Original pull ring intact. Marked on the front “WB” for work battalion. Under that is the markings for a Light Duty Battalion. Also in this case the 816th.

These units were medical and used to get the men into shape with light work duties. Wounded soldiers took up most the positions. Excellent medical department collectable. Scarcer unit marked pouch.
