Compass Wood ENG 17. Condition near unissued. One of the best condition wooden engineer compasses I have owned. Clear markings on the lid with date of 1917. These were used in the field and were a part of many of the engineering kits of the era.

Produced by “Gurley” of Troy New York. Latch works perfectly and the button to stabilize needle for transport works. Very decorative wooden box with no damage or scars.
