Chest Cord 1880s ART for dress uniform and helmet. Worn on the dress blue era Army uniforms and attached to the helmets as well. Red in color to represent the Artillery Corps. Early example with the softer rope used and thinner outer shell of the rope. Condition is nice with some wear and age to the parts but quite displayable as seen.
Several colors of these were made for different branches in the Army during this time.
