Canteen set VN 68. Condition near unissued to mint. Wonderful original set with cup and cover. Cover is the Nylon type with the first pattern plastic snaps. These were not a good choice and soon changed to metal. “AC” company marked canteen undated but period 60’s manufacture. Cup is excellent and also the same period. Light printing on the back of canteen does show 68 contract.

Wonderful set of the newly issued nylon the troops loved and stayed dryer than the canvas with less weight.
