29th Bomb Sqdrn Patch

Description

29th Bomb Sqdrn Patch for Leather Bomber Jacket. Walked in the Store door along with the other 2 patches included as seen.  This leather Jacket patch is in excellent condition from being in a book so long and removed.  The back is the correct white color we see on so many.  Excellent painting with not a lot of crazing.  Also has the stitching holes from once being on his jacket.

This famous group used the Idea of Toby the Hair from the Disney short film in 1938 as their mascot.  They changed it to white for better luck.  He is seated on a Bomb of which the Japanese feared this group.  Boxing gloves on hands finish the look of the great patch.

The 29th bomb sqdrn squadron was very very active in the pacific.  Many articles and association websites can be found on Google easily. This patch was made in reverse as many I have seen but that is not a issue since many are seen to mirror others due to the person making them were usually many.
