WWI PURPLE HEART NAMED TO THEODORE ANTONOPOULOS KNOWN GREEK BOXER: I have printed off a nice article that describes this soldier and 3 others that were well known GREEK boxers in the US when we did not really accept them.  Very interesting but I did not further the research to the unit or the time he was wounded.  This is a ex cellent purple heart with a ODD broach that May be original or a 1930's replacement but unknown why. PURPLE HEART GROUPING TO SOLDIER THAT WAS SEVERLY INJURED LAST 15 MIN OF WAR: Company B and a few others like this soldier were Heavely hit with Artillery fire by the Upset Germans 15 minutes from 11 O'clock.  He could have been even 1 minute but the Record shows it started at 10:45.  Name and number have been lightly defaced for some reason unknown, but Sgt.Fred Tucker was in the 356th Infantry Co. SCARCE WWI WOMANS CANADIAN ARMY CORPS DRIVERS UNIFORM FROM NEW YORK: Bought direct from the granddaughter this uniform belonged to Catherine Hale Smith of N. Tonawanda, NY.  I know her father was a Banker and she later married Ken MacKenzie in 1923.  B/1899 D/1977. When over the border to Canada during WWI, I think family issue/rebellion years. Her family was high society.  But includes the dress, tunic (leather buttons correct) and Toronto tag, cap with CAC buttons and name tag, and belt.  EXCELLENT condition,one of the scarcer uniform in OD color for a Woman. Usually wore by drivers and Women only had 2 choices in the Canadian forces in WWI.
