When returned by the French townspeople the Red Cross would give them the total in French francs. These of course were destroyed when not needed after the war due to the monetary value and are extremely RARE to find. I have seen 1 and 5 franc tokens. 	RARE 1918 DATED COPPER PRIMER BOX FOR NAVAL TORPEDOES: If you collect WWI Naval or ordinance items, this has to be one of the rarest boxes of the period. Opened and empty this box still has the separators inside. About 5 x 3 inches by 4 inches high. This held a 45/70 type blank that was used to arm the torpedoes of WWI.
